Public Disclosure of Information on the Prevention and Control of Hazardous Waste Pollution
In accordance with Article 29 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution
In accordance with Article 29 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste: Units that generate, collect, store, transport, utilize, or dispose of solid waste shall, in accordance with the law, promptly disclose information on the prevention and control of environmental pollution caused by solid waste and proactively accept public oversight. The following is the disclosure of our company’s information on the prevention and control of pollution from hazardous waste:
I. Company Overview
Our company is engaged in mechanical processing and the manufacture of motor vehicles, and operates a hazardous waste storage facility. In accordance with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste and other relevant regulations, the waste temporary storage area is equipped with conspicuous hazardous waste warning signs and implements measures to protect against wind, sunlight, rain, seepage, and other forms of environmental pollution. Designated personnel are responsible for the safe management of all processes, including collection, registration, weighing, and classified storage.
II. Hazardous Waste
The main hazardous wastes generated include waste emulsified liquid, air-flotation oil sludge, waste packaging drums, waste cotton yarn, waste cleaning agents, waste paint sludge, waste activated carbon, and waste filter cotton, among others. The generation processes include machine tool machining, equipment maintenance and cleaning, empty drums from equipment maintenance lubricants, discarded rubber hoses and oil-soaked cotton yarn after maintenance and replacement, and coating operations. The final disposal of these hazardous wastes is entrusted to Shaanxi Xintiandi Solid Waste Comprehensive Disposal Co., Ltd., a qualified contractor, for comprehensive treatment. In 2025, a total of 24.3577 tonnes of hazardous waste were disposed of. Detailed information on the specific types of hazardous waste is provided in Table 1.
