In accordance with Article 29 of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste”: Units that generate, collect, store, transport, utilize, or dispose of solid waste shall, in accordance with the law, promptly disclose information on the prevention and control of environmental pollution caused by solid waste and proactively accept public supervision. We hereby make public the information on the prevention and control of hazardous waste pollution at our company:
I. Company Information
Our company is a mechanical processing enterprise with a hazardous waste storage facility. In accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste" and other relevant regulations, the temporary waste storage area is equipped with conspicuous warning signs for hazardous waste. We have also implemented measures to protect against wind, sunlight, rain, leakage, and other forms of environmental pollution. A dedicated person is responsible for ensuring the safe management of the entire process, including collection, registration, weighing, and categorized storage.
II. Hazardous Waste
The main types of hazardous waste generated include waste emulsions, oil sludge from air flotation systems, waste packaging drums, and waste cotton yarn. The generation processes involve machining on machine tools, cleaning and maintenance of equipment, empty drums used for equipment maintenance lubricants, as well as discarded rubber hoses and oil-soaked cotton yarn after maintenance and replacement. The final destination for these hazardous wastes is comprehensive disposal entrusted to Shaanxi Shuifa Environmental Co., Ltd., a qualified disposal company. In 2023, a total of 14.3812 tons of hazardous waste were disposed of. Specific details of the hazardous wastes are provided in Table 1.
